Please note: the route is correct for everything except the turn off from the New England Highway. After John Renshaw Drive merges onto the Highway, stay in the left lane and take the next turn off. Turn right, heading under the bridge, then left and the first roundabout and right at the next, this puts you on Government Road.

Directions
Edwards Hall car park to Newcastle Uni Rowing Shed:
1. Exit University campus turning right onto University Drive. After 1.6km;
2. Turn right at the roundabout onto Jesmond Bypass Road, after 2km;
3. Follow most traffic to the right at the roundabout onto Sandgate Road, after 1.5km;
4. Turn left onto the Pacific Highway (at the end of Sandgate Road).
There are three places where you may get confused, make sure that you continue to the right at the first two (rather than turning off to the left) and turn off to the left at the third (instead of going over the bridge at Thornton), after 12.8km;
5. Exit the Highway to the left at Thornton and turn right under the bridge, after 700m;
6. Turn left at the first roundabout and right at the next onto Government Road, after 3.3km;
7. Turn right onto Raymond Terrace Road (at the end of Government Road), after 1.4km;
8. Turn left into Eales Road, after 1.6km;
9. Turn left into Duckenfield Road (at the end of Eales Road), after 1.2km;
10. Turn right into Berry Park Rowing Complex.
