Welcome to the NUBC website. We are a sporting and social club primarily for students of Newcastle Uni.
If you are new to rowing, we will be holding novice training sessions on Saturday mornings commencing on the 25/02/12 – come along and have a paddle!
We meet in the Edwards Hall carpark at Uni at 8am, or out at the rowing shed at 8.30am (see the About page for directions).

Looking for a fun, low cost way to get fit? The Newcastle University Boat Club has the solution – start rowing!
Rowing is a popular sport at university – a great way to meet people, get some exercise and enjoy the great outdoors.
NUBC caters to all levels of skill and interest – whether you’re an experienced rower or have never been in a boat before.
If you’re interested in competitive rowing, we regularly race in local regattas and look forward to taking another team to the Australian University Games. We also host social events throughout the year.
