Welcome to the NUBC website. We are  a sporting and social club primarily for students of Newcastle Uni.

Looking for a fun, low cost way to get fit? The Newcastle University Boat Club has the solution – start rowing!
Rowing is a popular sport at university – a great way to meet people, get some exercise and enjoy the great outdoors.
NUBC caters to all levels of skill and interest – whether you’re an experienced rower or have never been in a boat before.

NEW ROWERS
We will be holding sessions for new rowers each Saturday morning. We meet in the Edwards Hall car park at Newcastle University, and carpool out to the rowing sheds at Morpeth. So come along at 8.00 am on Saturday with socks, a hat, water bottle, a couple of gold coins for petrol money and a BBQ, and give it a go!

TRIVIA NIGHT
Thank you to everyone that attended this year, the Trivia Night was a huge success. With many great prizes given away, some fun and tricky trivia questions and some inspiring erg racing, a great time was had by all!
